2012 FVA Conference

In April of 2012, the Visual Anthropology Society at Temple (VAST) held its first annual Futures of Visual Anthropology Conference. The conference welcomed submissions relating to visual studies and research, which sought to reconceptualize the meaning of cultural and theoretical visualization. In its first incarnation, the conference was open to Temple students, faculty, and alumni; however, VAST will be expanding the conference in 2013 to include an array of events and discussions open to researchers from a wider range of universities, organizations, and disciplines.
